What sort of roles can you expect to find here at SSL

Domestic Cleaning

Our domestic cleaners are trained to deliver excellence when it comes to maintenance and cleaning requirements, playing a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Housekeeping

Due to the nature of our business, this is not your average job! Our housekeepers play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe and well-maintained environment for service users.

Catering

Our catering teams at SSL provide delicious, fresh, high quality meals, snacks and beverages across our sites, serving customers, service users and our own staff in our on site restaurants.

Transport and Portering

Our team transports various items around BSMHFT & SSL sites including non emergency patients, pharmaceutical items, specimens, internal and external post, medical records, oxygen supply and more…

Gardening /Groundskeeping

Our grounds-keepers and gardeners play an important role in maintaining clean and safe grounds that welcome our service users, customers and our teams into a comfortable and professional environment.

Warehouse Services

Our large warehouse holds stock and supplies for all sites across SSL and BSMHFT, including PPE, uniforms, and dressings.

Our warehouse staff work to maintain stock and distribute throughout the business.

Trades

We have a number of skilled tradespeople who work across our sites to maintain and repair our facilities, ensuring a safe and secure environment for service users and staff.

Office/Clerical

Our office/clerical roles cover everything behind the scenes, from administration, analytics, communications, contract management, human resources and finance.
